Friendly, polite and well-mannered, Justin is a charismatic 13-year-old with a great sense of humor and he likes making people laugh.  He has many friends due to his outgoing personality.  A video game enthusiast, he enjoys challenging other youngsters to beat his scores.  Justin has abundant energy which he channels into playing football and soccer, and running.

An intelligent teenager, Justin receives special education services in school that help him be very productive.  He understands everything taught him and communicates well with his teachers and other students.  He also gets along well with the children in his foster placement and enjoys assuming a big brother role for the younger ones.

Therapy is helping Justin deal with behavioral and emotional challenges resulting from his chaotic childhood.  He has set a goal of continually improving himself.  A Lifebook---an on-going record of his/her life, including photos, souvenirs, documents and other items as well as his comments---has been started for him and he yearns to share it with a "forever" family.  He would benefit greatly from a stable home, where he would receive continuous love and support.  With his intelligence and personality, Justin has much to offer an adoptive family.  He is eligible for financial subsidy.

Often people think of babies when they hear the word "adoption."  There are, however, relatively few infants in the foster care system awaiting permanent homes.  The majority of the children are school age and many of them are teens, who desire and deserve the same kind of attention and love shown to younger children.

Please contact the National Adoption Center, 1500 Walnut Street, Suite 701, Philadelphia, PA 19102 if you would like more information about adopting children out of the foster care system.  Call today for a free packet of information, 215-735-9988 or visit the website at www.adopt.org.
