Faces Of Hope

     If Sylek had three wishes, they would be to have his own video game system with a few games, to have a beautiful house and to obtain an educational degree.  The 12-year-old is looking forward to attending college and then having a career in business.  In the meantime, he keeps busy with his many interests.  He delights in playing sports, especially basketball.  He also enjoys swimming, reading, going to the mall, movies and the library.  Sylek is very open to trying new things and having a variety of experiences.

     A polite pre-teen, he describes himself as "smart, nice, cool, athletic and a good dresser."  In school, he benefits from special education services and is a good student.  His favorite subjects are Social Studies and Science.

     Very helpful in his foster home, his favorite chore is assisting with the laundry.  He also helps set the table, cleans up after meals and takes out the trash.  He likes to keep his bedroom neat and clean.

     Sylek hopes to be adopted and would do well with a two-parent or single-parent family that would be patient, loving and would help him reach his potential.
