"Polite, smart, talkative, and outgoing" are all
words that describe Jawaun, 14. A typical teen, he enjoys spending
time with his friends, listening to his IPOD, playing video games and
surfing the internet. He is very interested in acting, drawing and
cooking. He takes pride in his possessions and keeps his room clean
and neat. Along with his foster family, Jawuan is involved in church
activities and attends choir rehearsals at the church. He also
participates in games and trips at the local Boys and Girls Club.
Jawuan has not yet decided on a career, but he is
considering several vocations. He might be an actor, an artist
specializing in lettering or a restaurant manager. In the eighth
grade, he does well and wants to attend an arts high school.
One of his dreams is to be adopted, and to help
find a home he has created and adoption brochure including details about
what he wants in his forever family. They should be fun, respectful,
honest, loving, caring and helpful. Most important, they should be a
family that will never leave Jawuan behind. He is eligible for
financial subsidy.
